Whoops haha. I don't think that would work on scorecards, so I went ahead and added the in. awesome... the looks better than I hoped. Personally, I think your number turned out the best. I don't know if it was the skew or what, but it fit really well.

Um... thought the race was Bristol Night? Kind of been trying to make my car to look good at night until now.

Um... thought the race was Bristol Night? Kind of been trying to make my car to look good at night until now. There was some confusion with that. In the series outline the race was listed as a night race, but the intention was for race one to be a day race with the final race being the night race. So we're now allowed to post day or night pictures. I'm in the same boat as you; I intentionally created my car to race under the lights, so I'm glad 714 changed it.

Another car 'inspired' by another painters work. The #16 looks pretty familiar to me. I thought Hartwig entered one of his old cars at first glance. It's a nice car, good work and all that but for me it is a copy. Originality = ZERO. I don't know why but this discouraged me to keep working on my half done car. I guess i quit until the next game is out.

That being said, maybe it wasn't the best idea to pick Milwaukee as a sponsor (although I think Energy's drill looks better), and maybe it shouldn't have been so heavily influenced by Hartwig. But I'm tired of all this calling out painters stuff. If anyone has an issue with anyone, it would be much more respectful to send a private message first and get their side of things. It's only the first race of the season. Let's just settle down, paint, and have fun.

Well I can see that I haven't missed out on anything lately! It's all the same crap that made me quit last season. I have kept my thoughts quiet, but with this latest drama, I feel like it's time for me to voice my opinion. Take it for what it's worth. I have always had a passion to be creative, and painting cars is so much fun for me. But when it comes to all the drama, it takes the fun out of it. Last year I had the championship in hand, but there were certain things that just made the season drag on, and with all the delays, feedback and scoring issues, I just had enough. I decided that a Internet forum championship banner wasn't worth all the hassle. If it weren't for me quitting, energy would not have won. But I made the choice, and he continued and won. But his attitude and actions after was absolutely laughable. And his choice of primary sponsorship this season was nothing but an arrogant move! And what makes it even more laughable was his first paint scheme of the season. The drill car. Are you kidding me? Do you not have any originality, or your own ideas? Thermite, we don't have the same styles of painting. Copying another painters cars time after time isn't the same style, it's copying. Plain and simple! And for you to make some of the feedback you did on my cars, and then to hear you defend him, makes me want to puke. His drill is better, his style is similar, he took inspiration away from my car. I call BS! It's a COPY! What good is messaging someone going to do, especially energy? We've been through this at least 6 times with him. Or are you forgetting about him copying your Gatorade car? Oh, my bad, the fact that he used specific style lines and graphics, that was just inspiration! I couldn't agree more with Spud! That's the reason I didn't even think about coming back this season. I don't like all the copy cat schemes, and all the crap feedback, and the low ball scoring. It'll never change, that's why the pbc always always fizzles out. Nobody has any interest in the drama past half way of the season! But who am I to judge. I'm not competing, but I think the crap that's going on in the pbc, and you thinking it's all ok, it's a bunch of laughable bull!

Barring any repercussions, Mr. Hardly-Not-A-Rookie is here to lend his quiet, quiet voice in this one.
To echo my fellow Spud, Energy's entry is a good car. As usually gets entered by him. But, yup, it's got jhartwig24 written all over it. I know I'm still relatively new at about 9 months, and I'm no where near the level as many of you, but... with all due respect Energy, you gotta come up with something new. When you beat something so far into the ground that you have a problem like this come up, it's high time for Bill Engvall to come in and say "Here's your sign!". Try something new. If it works, it puts you that much farther ahead. However, picking Milwaukee was probably the issue from the start... But, hey. You can always just give him zero in the originality department and move on.
Now, last thing before I'm done on this happy little rant for now. It's race 1. The first god damned race and we have this. From my crappy start to now, I've loved being a part of PBC, learning how to make a half legitimate car, and so on, even when new changes were announced by 714 that I didn't quite like. And the guys I, for one, look up to get into a pissing match closely resembling the 2016 Presidential Debates. If I can ask one thing of everyone, it's to either disqualify the car, give the car low scores, or move on entirely or who knows what. But come on man...
Anyways, no matter what happens, here's to what I hope is a great PBC season. Let's not kill it in Race 1.
