Let's discuss this week's entries!
15 - I know you didn’t make as many changes as some of the others, but this car was already really strong, so any bigger changes or overthinking might have hurt it more than helped. Well played!
34 - A very clean car, and your changes definitely improved it. It seems like this is how the car should have been all along. However, it just wasn’t quite strong enough overall compared to the rest of the Snap-on field. Really solid scheme though.
6 - The base definitely reminds me of Kevin Harvick’s, but just the fact that you could pull it off makes it really special. This car is much improved over your other one. However, I feel that having the triangular background behind the Budweiser text on the side of the car clashes with the rest of the scheme, and the “B” and “r” are hard to read against the white. Maybe just having the text by itself and with a darker outline would have been better.
10 - I mentioned before that I actually liked the white version of this car better! I feel that it popped more. And the extra tool on the hood was a bit too much in my opinion. Kinda seems like you just wanted another difficult brush on there just for the sake of having it. It’s still an amazing car, and I really wish I could have scored you at the top considering how great of a season you’ve had, but just looking at this current scheme compared to the rest of the field like we’re supposed to, I had to put it where I did.
00 - Your improvements gave this scheme its full potential! Very well done. The extra white, the cherries, and the outlines helped a bunch. It’s obviously still a busy scheme, but you made it work.
25 - You just keep getting better! The camo is definitely improved and the duck call was a nice idea. The side number is finally even and skewed nicely. Might be a little too wide but we don’t have to worry about that right now. Just keep up the good work!
9 - The custom text and little changes you made on this scheme made it really strong! The only thing that kept me from scoring it above the 00 was that the 00 did just a tiny bit more in terms of improvements. But looking at just the scheme itself, yours is right there if not better than his.
97 - That number is finally starting to look pretty badass! Might still need a little work but if you look at where you started, it’s a million times better. This is definitely one of your better base schemes, although I’m not sure the black curves on the back were the best idea. I know you were following what was on the side of the car but it kind of looks odd on the back. Anyway, like I said with Andrew, just keep doing what you’re doing! You’ll get there.
*If you have any questions, just ask! I have the numbers to back these up.
