Might as well sign me up, as well! Pretty happy with how my car ended up this month. Definitely a bit of work to do on a few things, but I think I'm finally getting the hang of this!
Also, this is probably one of the closest fields in PBC that I've seen so far! Everyone's really doing well this year. Keep it up, folks, we're only halfway done!
EDIT: I guess I'll offer what I can to get this one rolling. I'll get the # 00emo and # 9emo done, well, I'll offer what I can at least.
Nightowl: I'll try to keep my biases to a minimum, as I am your teammate. I think your number could be a tad bit bigger; not a huge amount, but it looks a little small in my opinion. That's pretty much all I've got, though. Keep up the great work!
AZSpud00: Car looks pretty good overall. I'm not sure how many pictures you took, but I'm only seeing two in the race thread. If you can, try and get as some more photos to try and get every angle of the car. I usually take around six: four for the sides, one overhead for the roof, hood and decklid, and maybe one to kinda show off the car at an angle, or the car doing a burnout or something. Just something creative to have a little fun with. Cars look really good, keep it up!

Guess I should specify I wanted feedback lol.
AZSPUD - I said it last race and somebody on the facebook club said it, show your scheme in your pictures. There is no clear shot of your hood or the work upon it. The PBC rules state that photo quality should not effect scores but its hard to judge what you can't see. I like the pixel effect that fades red to yellow, very fitting of your sponsors packaging. The best logo I can see is the one on the tail, using one like that would help fill out your quarter panels. You show improvements each race, keep it up.
Leadfoot- You get a little bolder and more confident each race, its now a matter of putting it all together. Your lines are getting cleaner and your schemes "flow" better and better each week. I'd like to seen more green mixed in and your number still needs some refining. Keep it up!

34emo Out of all the cars this race the 34 had the best balance of difficulty and execution. For sure you should have won with this car. Hopefully you bring it back for the chase.
28emo Great use of texture in the background of your base, lots of good use of gradients and color also. The details in the bottle and the peppers bring the scheme all together. This was almost a tie with the 34 in my book but ultimately the 34 beat you out when it came to the logos difficulty. Not sure why this scheme was scored as a love it or hate it car, score were all over the place high of 2 and a low of 8. Hopefully some of the painters that placed you on the back end of the top 10 can elaborate on what is going on there. I love it when we get these new painters in that completely surprise us all and rise to the top quickly. Rookie of the year for sure!
10emo Another solid car, if the rest of us do not step up our game and add some killer brushes for the chase we might as well engrave the championship trophy now. I do think that the car needed either more white or more black. I would lean towards black on the sides, it might of helped show the repeated High Life text in the base. I know you were a little rushed finishing your car and with some refinement it will be even better. I think the girl on the hood needs some help with her foot and her right eye looks a little wonky. Still one of the better brushes of the season so far.
13emo Another amazing Spud base scheme, it looked like it was glowing. What hurt the scheme for me was the text. While it fit perfectly with the sponsor it still looked like a lot of in game text. I really liked the offset stripe and the under glow. I could see this being a real life paint scheme.
15emo I liked the texture on the bottom layers of the base. Not sure if the rest of the base fit the theme of the sponsor. Difficulty is what brought the scheme down in my opinion, if it had the the axe can brush like your past AXE car that would have off set the simplicity of the logo.
17emo I still really like the base scheme on this car. The subtle gradients, nice clear panels to showcase the sponsor brushes, and flawless execution make this a well rounded car. Only thing holding this car back are the brushes they appear to be rather simple. I would love to see you reuse this base for a remake of your firefox brush or some of the other complex logos you have made in the past.
80emo Welcome to the big leagues. What a solid first entry. I liked the racing stripes on the hood and the side design but, I think carrying more of those themes through the car would have helped. The side design looked good and fit the sponsor. What put the car on the low side of the top ten for me was the difficulty of the logo and a few parts of the base that didn't seem to fit the rest of the base scheme. like the dark green in front of the front wheel. I am sure once you get more time and the hang of making cars race after race you will be knocking on the door for a win before the end of the season. It is pretty safe to say you are one of if not the best replica guys posting, once you get a hang for this series under your belt you will be the car your own teammate should be worried about.
33emo I really liked the flow of your car. The way the logo followed the base instead of the lines of the body worked well. i just think there were a few flaws in the execution of the base scheme. Something I am sure you could easily fix to make this scheme score better.
00emo I think I like this car better than the regular 7up car you posted for race one. I am sure the lighting of the race track did not help and that the green gradients really jump at a night race. With the 8 car missing the past two races you have been bumped into the Snap On series for next week which I have no doubts that you would have gotten there under different circumstances. Biggest thing I would suggest is refining your brushes here and there. I think next season is really going to be a good one for you as long as you select the perfect balance of sponsor difficulty to fit your paint style.
83emo Another good car this week. I liked the base but think the red should have been done in finer lines. Red is always a slight detail color for that sponsor and with the other primary colors he has a dominate presence in teh base scheme. Other than that the car is rather in game text heavy which is partially on sponsor selection but it does hurt how the car scores against others in the field.
1emo I really think this car would have scored better if the white and black were reversed. The top of the car just looked snowed out and even with the black outline on the text the sponsor name just gets lost. I think the design on the side could also use some refinement. behind the rear tire the design has this up and back curve feel to it if the shapes under the number and behind the front wheel had the same flow I think I would have scored it in the base scheme category higher. like the 83 the in game text fits the sponsor but it hurts the score of the car.
9emo I scored this car the best I could from what I could see. More pictures would have been the biggest thing that would have helped. I liked the black on the sides and it looks like there is a good deal of detail in the rest of the base. Some closeups would have made it easier to see what was going on there. I couldn't really base an opinion on the hood since I couldn't see it but the logo on the back looked good. I think if the in game text on the side was smaller and had the custom brush you made on the side it would have scored better. I would also look at real world pictures of race cars to help with your placement of the other sponsor brushes on the car.
97emo Cars are getting better, I like the improvements to the number but I am still unsure about the 7. I like the base scheme flow, but I think the sponsors need to have a greater presence on the car.
25emo Like the 97, sponsor presence is key. I am not sure Insurance should have been abbreviated, it would have helped fill the quarter panel for sure. Also the base scheme has a lot of lines that are not evenly spaced or angled the same. i am not sure if that it by choice but usually that style of base scheme is very symmetrical

I'll had a good theme in my head for the AAA paint scheme, but it did not came out what I hope I wanted. I saw the mistakes I had when I submit the paint scheme in, and started on my race 5 scheme with a few different ways of implementing a new base color with some gradients. For the Insurance name, I thought the shortened up version will be a good idea, because most or all AAA paint schemes don't have that type of lettering on the sides along with the all white AAA logo, but I see what you were talking about with insurance being on the sides and not the shortened version. Overall, It wasn't my best one so far this year, hope to look back on it as a weak entry, and try harder on my next race entry.

Not having a great picture of the hood is on me. As far as there only being a couple pictures to view, no idea. I posted 7, and well... I don't know. Also apologies for not submitting a scorecard. Things happened preventing me from doing so...

There is some time to rework the scheme and make some tweaks before teh chase because that is one of your better schemes this year

Hey everybody, I get having a top 5 car this week, but I was just wondering why I got some of the low scores? I'm just trying to improve every race and would appreciate a little feedback.
I guess it's like 714 said, I'm not sure why this was a love it or hate it car...

For me, your side designs just kind of blur together and end randomly at the quarter panal disrupting the flow and that is reaching for a critique. With as close as these races have been all year, sombody has to finish somewhere and the differance from 1-8 is like splitting atoms. I would have like to seen an associate sponsor on your quarter panal, maybe near the rear to break up the random ends. Otheriwse, Your brushes are great and I love the base texture as well. Your B post looks much cleaner without 5 or 6 brushes crammed in there. Finally, your passenger side flag is backwards, the field of blue should always face forward. As a servicemen this is a pet peeve of mine and I automaticlly deduct .10 of a point from anybody whos flag is improperly placed. Other than that, youre doing great work this year, I'd say a darkhorse title contender and apperantly a ROY contender? lol..keep it up man.

Sorry it's taken so long for this, been kinda busy... 9- I wasn't able to see all of your car. But what I did see was an improvement from last race. I liked the fading around the fenders that put a nice touch to it. Wish it was a little more of a base "scheme" though. It needs some extra, not just fading. 80-Demonte!! Welcome to the PBC!! Awesome first entry. Your side panels look really good and fits the sponsor well. I will say that the hood, roof, and deck lid were just kinda blah for me. Racing stripes are a good idea, just wish it had more depth and color. A few more outlines takes this scheme a long way. 25- your scheme looked cool this week. There are some issues with things being proportional but the overall car was cool. Maybe try to tweak the number a little more to make it even. 00- I like it! But you've got more competition now so you gotta step it up a little bit. Lol. Great all around car, I really like the bubbles on the side. I'm ready to see a rain x car from you, from what I see so far, it could be your best car yet. 15- well hello there gorgeous, (calm down energy, I was talking about the car) I love this car! The claw marks are great! You have one of the most creative minds in the paint booth. The only thing I could possibly say about this on the negative side is the hood, I don't understand where the pinstripes came into play? Maybe It's a figment of my imagination, it is very muted. 6- The hood logo and the text on the quarter panels are on point! The base scheme just looked a bit rushed to me. For instance, a random football shape near the front? I think it could've been tied in better. A great idea, just feel as if it could've been better executed. 13- seriously? You didn't even start your car until like the last day, and you came out with this!? And somehow it doesn't look rushed. Kudos man, kudos... 83- Napa would be proud of this scheme, I would love to see this on a real car, but for the PBC, I think it lacked depth. Too 2 dimensional, if that makes sense. 1- I really wish the colors on the roof number would have been the sponsor colors rather than white. That would've added tremendously to your scheme. I liked the car from every other angle. Possibly could've used some shading or shadowing of the design. That would've looked cool. But good show teammate! 10- jake... (Crickets) how are we supposed to keep up with you when you're making brushes like this? Awesome job man. I have no advice for you. Sorry... 97- you're base designs are getting better every race, keep it up! That number though, where the nine crosses in the middle, and the seven points down on the left side, they need some work. It looks too thick. I think you were going for the kasey kahne red bull number look??? It's close, but it could be awesome with a little tweaking to it. You're sponsor logo is good. If nothing else, try making a few more brushes for this scheme. 17- I'm like 714 on this scheme, it's really clean, great brushes, and a great scheme, but we've seen it already. I totally get time restraints, trust me. But that's what really hindered my score for you this week... I'm eager to see something original again 33- that pig, it's awesome! I love piggly wiggly anyway, always have. Anyway, I really like the base scheme, it reminded me of expanded metal, not really sure if that's what you were going for but it worked! The only thing about it, you could tell where the new brush began and the other one ended. So it made it look kinda splotchy. You would've scored better imo if it would've had better flow. 34- wow, remind me to redo my Texas Pete bottle because you blew it out of the water! Amazing job on that coke scheme, it's hard for me to find any flaws in it. I know there was some controversy with the first scheme you posted for coke, you have completely redeemed yourself with this car! Sorry if there are any hurt feelings, I tend to be brutally honest, I'm trying to tone it down a bit...
