Welcome to the third PBClassic Challenge! As many of you already know, I am taking over this contest for the time being in Vader's absence. This is a contest that runs monthly which allows any member of the Forums to participate. The contest will usually be open to entries for 3 weeks, at which point the thread will close and a poll will go up to decide who's scheme was the best! Rules: All schemes in this contest must be created entirely using the NASCAR Gaming paint booth (NASCAR 14, 13, IL and 2011), so no Photoshop, no Forza, iRacing etc. Like in the PBCup, you are allowed to re-enter a submission from a previous challenge (as long as it fits the theme). However, once that car has won a challenge you are not allowed to re-enter that scheme. This month's theme is... Other Series Replicas! Convert a paint scheme from another form of racing (i.e. F1, NHRA, rally cars, etc.) onto a NASCAR race car. The entries will be judged primarily off of replication difficulty, base scheme and sponsor accuracy, and how well the painter converts their scheme to a stock car body. You are allowed to use NASCAR's decal rules (i.e. numbers on the doors/roof, contingencies, etc.), or you can forgo that entirely and stick with the original decals. It's up to you. Finally, in-game headlight decals/manufacturers are suggested, but not necessary. Have at it! Submissions are Due by April 29th.

Love this theme! Just want to make sure of something: you want the converted scheme to fit NASCAR rules correct? Ie. add door numbers even if they're just on the wing, etc?

I might enter this one, and can we enter a drifting car like Vaughn Gitten Jr.'s mustang?

I might enter this one, and can we enter a drifting car like Vaughn Gitten Jr.'s mustang? Sure. As long it isn't a car in NASCAR's three national series, you can enter it.

Keep in mind that there is little over one week until the deadline.
I'll be getting my entry posted in here in a few days.

I finally know what I want to do but I'll have to see if I have time. If I do, it'll be V8 Supercars!

^ I thought you needed a picture of the original scheme.
Mine will be posted later tonight!

^ I thought you needed a picture of the original scheme. Mine will be posted later tonight! Yeah, I decided to edit that out. It occurred to me that an original pic probably wouldn't be of much use for this particular challenge. You can still include a pic if you want, though.

"The entries will be judged primarily off of replication difficulty, base scheme and sponsor accuracy, and how well the painter converts their scheme to a stock car body."
How could the voters do that if they have nothing to compare it to? You could tell the voters to Google image the schemes, but I personally feel like it would be better to select the picture(s) you want them to see. Not a huge deal though. The voters on this forum should understand well enough.
