I thought it would be neat to get everyone’s thoughts, guesses and predictions about the upcoming PBC season and then revisit this thread after the season’s end. So have at it, who’s winning what? What teams/painters will surprise? Who will be the ROTY? Who is a championship contender. (try and refrain from picking yourself for any answer if at all possible)
Snap-On Series Champion – Energy. This is wide open, as the talent level is off the charts. This could be too close to call, depending on who commits to a full-time schedule. This will come down to basically a coin flip at the last race but even with a new team, I think Energy takes it all at the end a’la Kevin Harvick. Other contenders – 714, Kane, Thermite, Jhartwig, Spud.. pretty much whoever ends up in the top 8 after race 7.
Exide Series Champion – Timmy. Timmy could find himself in the SOS Title hunt just as easy. Showed a ton of talent in the Target Series last year and pairing up with Energy has the potential to spell bad news for everyone else. Other contenders – Who knows?! Codrock and Dingerfan are poised for breakout years.
ROTY – Andrew. Has had solid entries and results in challenges and should transition nicely into PBC. Other contenders – imjustarandomdude (afaik those are the only 2 rookies)
Most Improved – Leadfoot. Biased answer as he is my teammate, But he has been showing promise and has really committed to improvement. He has selected sponsors that suit his strengths. Other contenders- Too close to call..
I predict 4-5 different winners in each series.

This could be fun.
Snap-On Series Champion – Jhartwig. He was the leader when the Sunoco series met its premature end last year, and it wouldn't shock me one bit to see him at the front again this season. Philmnn could also have a shot at the title if he stays full-time (although I suppose the same goes for nearly everybody).
Exide Series Champion – Timmy. I'm slightly biased because he's my teammate, but considering that he's right at the cut-off spot for the two series, I think he'll do well. Although, it would make me glad to see Dingerfan have a breakout year in his return to the PBCup.
ROTY – Andrew, but only because I haven't seen anything from imjustarandomdude haha.
Most Improved – NightOwl. His entries improved greatly between the beginning and end of last season, and I don't see any reason why that should stop this time around. Leadfoot could also be put in this category.
Other predictions: The Snap-On Series will have 4 winners, and the Exide Series will have three.

Prediction for Series Snap-on; Exide 714 Thermite Nightowl Andrew6295 Energy Kane88DaleJr codrock96 imjustarandomdude Vader** Spudweiser McNasty33 Leadfoot530 Dingerfan Timmy8848245 Phildo jhartwig24
Snap-on Series: The artist formerly known as Philmnn has a great chance of returning to championship form. 714 has a great shot as well, but those in the Snap-on series will show why they are in the top tier, so I believe it will be a close series.
Exide Series: Target Series Champion Vader does not return to full time action, leaving this series without an undisputed favorite to win the championship. Dingerfan had some really decent cars last year, especially his Daytona win, and was tied for series points lead before the start of the chase. Nightowl finally broke through on the win column, and should still improve. Timmy was also decent, as well as Codrock. Leadfoot also has a chance as he is a PBCup tier winner from Inside line.
ROTY: I'm just going to take a random guess ans say imjustarandomdude pulls it off for rookie of the year.

My not so bold prediction for the Cup. Nacho Motorsports all the way. They are both previous champs and they both drove for T1M in the past. Reigning champion Hartwig had some mindblowing cars last season and i'm sure he will do well this year again. Phildo always had great paint schemes in the past and he'll be a threat for the title if his lazyness doesn't stop him... Looking forward to see your cars guys.

Snap-On Series Champion – I think Jhartwig will pull it off. When I'm not really motivated to paint, I go through some of the garages to try and gain inspiration, and I usually end up on Jake's. He is one of those that has the schemes that make you say, "Man, I feel like painting again. I need to figure out how to beat this guy." Him and McNasty and Phildo could probably paint the phonebook and make it look good. Obviously there's a ton of talent in this series, but if I had to pick one, I would say Jhartwig.
Exide Series Champion – Dingerfan. Can the 1 car have the breakout season we've been waiting for and end up at number 1? This year may be the year. Other possibilities: Nightowl if he keeps improving. Might need a little more experience before we can talk championship though. I also think Timmy could pull it off. I think he's almost ready to make the move to the top tier. But can he get it done in the Exide Series first? We'll see!
ROTY – I'll go with ImJustaRandomDude here. I've only seen his test car so far, but it looked good enough to show that he should be a serious threat for ROTY, if not a couple wins as well in the Exide Series. Don't count Andrew out though! Should be fun to watch both of them develop throughout the season.
Most Improved – Leadfoot or Dingerfan. Leadfoot is incredibly determined to get better, so I see no reason why he shouldn't get this award. As for Dinger, like I said, I think he's about ready to have a breakout season and start pulling off top tier cars. I could also see Andrew stepping it up now that he'll be participating in competition more.
Lots of talent overall this year, and everyone is always pushing everyone to get better, so I expect this to be one amazing season!

Well first of all, I'd like to make it known that I can't wait to participate in PBC this year and appreciate everyone's curiosity as to how I'll perform this year in PBC.
From my browsing competition looks tough... Really really tough. Everyone brings some skill and form of talent to the table. As far as predictions go, I don't have many pertaining as to how I haven't seen many of you guys paint, so I'll just leave that up in the air. But from what I'm seeing, it could be Energy, 714, McNasty, Kane, JHartwig, Spudweiser, Philmnn. So... This is going to be a total showdown every week. Best of luck to everyone competing this year and be sure to paint your hearts out. I'll see you on track

The Snap-On series is going to be tight and I would not be surprised if there was not a repeat winner until we got into the chase. I predict McNasty will have three second place finishes due to losing tie breakers. Energy and thermite tie in most poles. Consistency not wins is going to be the key behind winning the championship. Spudweiser comes from behind and wins the Snap-On series after the regular series is won by thermite.
In the Exide series I see it coming down to imjustarandomdude, Dingerfan, and Timmy. Wins will be more important in this series, if anything takes any painter out of contention it will be missing a race.

I hope by my 4th year I improve to breakout lol
So here's predictions: Snap-on Series: Ultra tight, but I think its safe to say Nacho Motorsports is the team to beat. Phildo and Jhartwig are favorites, but the rest of the field is not very far behind. This is a tight series, and it will be cool to watch. Exide Series: Gatoradefan just became the top challenger in this series, and he's my teammate. Of course, Timmy and codrock will be threats as well. ROTY: imjustarandomdude (we need to shorten this to like IJaRD or something). Other notable things: -Energy will get the most poles -I, after 4 years, finally "breakout" and have a brief stint in the top 8 before falling out

Snap-On Series Champion – I expect this to be very competitive this year! But after the regular season is complete, I expect it to come down to 714, Spudweiser, and Thermite, but honestly, the rest of the guys in this class are gonna kill it as well! There could be literally single points dividing the whole field!
Exide Series Champion – Timmy is my pick to take home the Exide Championship trophy. I do expect this to be a fun class though, with multiple race winners and a tight battle to the end of the year!
ROTY – This one is extremely tough. Andrew has some serious skill, and keeps getting better and better. I've never seen any cars from IJARD, but his test car shows a lot of promise, and he could end up being something special! It's gonna be a nail biter, but I think IJARD is going to sneak ahead in the final race or two!
Most Improved – NightOwl gets my nod in this one, but Dingerfan is gonna be another one to keep a close eye on!
I predict 6 different winners in the Snap-On Series, and 4 different winners in the Exide Series.

I think my predictions would be a lot more accurate if everyone I picked was still full-time. But it's definitely fun to look back at this! We should do some more before the Chase.

And he would have if he didn't get burned out and leave right before the last race. So close yet so far lol.
Well, forget the "need more experience" part!
Andrew had that "never give up" attitude this year. He stuck it out, kept improving, and even pulled off a win! Really proud of this guy
It's really close between Leadfoot and Andrew here. Leadfoot was the other one who just hung in there and impressed us by how much he improved, especially with the evolution of his number. Good job guys!
