Race 4 will be marking the halfway point of regular season. To mark this milestone in this years activities I will be announcing special events for championship week end this November.
I have a general idea of what I want to do to celebrate the end of our season and I am interested in hearing your feedback and ideas.
During the the Inside Line season we gave away trophies in a number of categories. Awards for best number, base scheme, biggest help etc were given out in a "championship banquet" thread. Would you guys like to see this return? and if so what kind of categories would you guys like to see besides the normal team champion and series championship awards?
Second would be an All Star event, open to race winners from the season. It would include a showdown, last chance qualifier. It would be segment based with an average finish of the segments deciding this seasons All Star.
Lastly I would like to do a Pole Winners showdown. An event to showcase the painters that can be quick on the draw on posting schemes. We would have a set time that a theme would be posted, shortly after the thread will open for qualifying.
So, thoughts, questions, comments...

In short, I really like those ideas. I think the more special events we have, the better.

So, thoughts, questions, comments... I really like the first idea. I would want the following categories (if we did this): -Unique number -best sponsor decal -Biggest support -base scheme -most improved The all-star event is a great idea as well. One of the cool things about the all-star race used to be the unique one-off cars (ie-the multi-color dale car, Harvick's Hunt Brothers cars, Newman combo scheme). Idk how everyone else feels about this, but if we had this could we make it mandatory to run a new scheme? It can be ran at any other race afterwards, and can be any sponsor (could those team sponsors or whatevers we had early make a special run in this race) just can't be an old scheme. Just want to know what y'all think. And that sounds awesome, except as far as I know aren't the 15emo and the 10emo the only cars to win pole?

@ 714 Yes. I kinda missed it in the last season, mostly cause I won the Target Series championship. I was hoping for the last few banners to put in my garage.

Big changes coming for Nacho Motorsports garage:
In a press release this morning, Nacho Motorsports Chief of Operations, jhartwig24 told reporters that they have been in talks with a new driver. Phildo doesn't have the time that he used to, and although he is still hopefully going to make a race or two being part time, his full time spot is going to be filled with an up and coming driver. They have welcomed demontehd as the new fulltime driver of the #80 Mt. Dew Chevrolet.
"It's both a sad and happy day here at Nacho Motorsports. We are sad to see Phildo have to take a backseat, and hopefully he finds time to compete in a race or two later in the season, but with a full time spot sitting empty, we are extremely happy to welcome demontehd to our team. He will be a great addition to our team." - jhartwig24
"Thanks for welcoming me into the PBC. I was probably never seen as much of a PBC guy, but I have an experienced and skilled teammate that I know I'll be able to rely on." - demontehd

I have always been a fan of Demontehd's stuff. Glad to see him a part of Nacho Motorsports. As for Phildo, I completely understand that. I am having trouble with the time myself. Hope he can stick around though.

Announcement: to mark the half way point of our season we will be allowing each team to switch ONE secondary sponsor free of charge after race 4. Team captains, when you submit your race 4 scorecard just add which sponsor you are getting rid of and the sponsor yo are replacing it with. Any issues with availability and conflicts will be handled on a first come first serve basis

Welcome to the PBCup Series demontehd! It will be cool to see more of what you can do as far as original schemes go. Excellent move, Hartwig. Sucks that Phildo can't paint as much anymore, but I know we'll still look forward to when he can enter!

I always thought you were more of a replica guy, but man I can't wait to see what you can dish out in terms of original schemes.
