Can I at least get a bonus point for picking guys that have finished 40th or worse two weeks in a row? Almirola 43rd at New Hampshire, and now Johnson 42nd (at the moment) at Dover.

I can't give you any bonus points, but I can give you one of these. Which is even better!  (jk, love you)Anyways, the field keeps diminishing in size each week. We started out with seven players entered in the first Chase race, then six, and now four this week. Oh well lol. Energy grabs both the race win and points lead by avoiding Jimmie Johnson, whose poor finish hurt both Thermite and Leadfoot's scores. Sandwiched between the two is randomdude with a solid day that bumps him into the top 4 in points. There's now just two races left before the cutoff, and Kane and Leadfoot are on the outside looking in. Should be fun!
(Also, Probowl would have gotten 67 points had his picks been in before the deadline. Thought you'd like to know that.)

Congrats to 29harvick4 for winning Charlotte in his SCFG debut! His 108 points were enough to hold off Energy, whose 103 points clinched him a spot in the Chase's final round. Speaking of the Chase, we're nearing its halfway point. After this week at Kansas, the top four in points will advance to compete for the championship in a five-race dash. Three spots remain up for grabs. Randomdude sits on the hot seat, with Leadfoot and Kane ready to capitalize on any of his mistakes. Energy has clinched a spot in the final four; azspud00, 29harvick4, jhartwig, and Larsonator have been mathematically eliminated from advancing.
