Ok, I hate to bump an old thread but I'm stumped. I need help with bubbles/raindrops/dew etc. I've spent hours, to the point where I poured water on my table, trying to get the gradients right to no avail. Please help..PM me if you don't want your techniques becoming public knowledge. Thanks in advance... This question was asked in the Logos and Graphics thread, but that thread is more for our official PBCup logos, so I'll move it to here. Anyway, I think Spudweiser has a better version so it would be cool to see his take on it, but I'll try to explain mine first. I think it'll be easier for me to make a video so be patient

So THAT's what Thermite sounds like . Anyways, if anyone wants a more 3D effect to their raindrop, I can post a pic of the condensation bubble I used on my Coke scheme.

I've never really cared for how my voice sounds, but I really want to start doing videos to help explain certain things. DeMonte's YouTube channel inspired me actually. So thank you to him lol.

You're not the only one, Thermite! Try being the leae singer of a punk rock bandwith a voice that's comparible to Mike Helton's. Doesn't work to well.

Wow. Awesome response guys! Thanks everyone.
Kane, I'd like to see your take on it. Your Coca-Cola scheme was one I attempted to use as a guide.

Ohhh so that's what spud's looks like up close. Nice! Very similar to mine except mine are filled in with the transparent gradient and don't have the highlights.
And thanks, probowl!
If we get Kane in here then we'll have three different takes on the same thing. This has been a really useful thread!

Question for Spud just for clarifictaion, is it the ring stamped to create the shadow, then a white circle and sharp shape to create the glare?

There is a ring/oval decal where one side is thicker than the other. i used that one. For the glare it's a sharp shape and an oval or what ever you want to use to get the effect.

Thanks man! I'm giving it a shot. If I can get it down to my liking, I've already got plans for it.
