We are always looking to improve our contests. This thread is for suggestions for next season and other Cup series.
I am looking into an idea for a new series. What I need are suggestions for sponsors of all difficulty levels.

So you're looking for 3 sponsors, correct? Essentially Cup, NXS, and Trucks?

We are always looking to improve our contests. This thread is for suggestions for next season and other Cup series. I am looking into an idea for a new series. What I need are suggestions for sponsors of all difficulty levels. What's your idea? I'm always throwing around ideas, a few of my recent ones include Pringles - I'm hesitant to mention this because I'm considering it for PBC in the future. The brush requires some skill and all the flavors provide ample scheme opportunities. Toys R Us - Was on a short list for PBC this year but my custom text skill wasn't up to par. Could make for some fun schemes. Scrubbing Bubbles - I've wanted to do this scheme since Inside Line but could never get the brushes right. Circle K - Made the brush on Inside Line, really simple to make, great for newer painters. iheartradio - another easy beginner brush I made on IL but not on 14 Under Armour - Brush takes some marginal effort but provides almost unlimited scheme potential. I'm sure I'll think of more along the way.

- M&M's, seeing melting chocolate on a series logo would be gorgeous.
- Coca-Cola, for the free logo... Kane teach us your ways.
- Kobalt Tools, sounds nice, simple logo too for alot of new painters.
- Jeff Gordon, with how ridiculous Nascar and more specifically Phoenix is taking his retirement tour, why don't we be ridiculous as well?
- PPG, a nice throwback to a former Indy/Cart sponsor.
- Santander
- Kelloggs/Cheez-It/Keebler/Pringles. They're all under one roof
- Pennzoil
- Kroger
As far as everyone else's suggestions go I really like Citgo, Under Armour, Circle K and Sonic.

Next season will be our fifth year of PBC! To mark this milestone I really want to make next season great. So I need to know what you all would like to see.

I would like to see something that kind of reflects an actual race season. We don't necessarily need 36 races like that one time, but a little more might be nice because you could see how everything is playing out a little better. A month between races is good because there's plenty of time, but I'm almost thinking it's too much time because it can break your race to race momentum or interest. It also might create less pressure to make an amazing scheme each race if we had more races. I'm also thinking more something like using a money system and making sponsors happy, like NASCAR Thunder 2004 or something. Each sponsor (see suggestion list) would get a value based on difficulty. Easy sponsor = $50, hard sponsor = $1000, and anywhere in between. Starting money is determined by Silly Season finishing order. Let's say you sign Coca-Cola. They're a major sponsor so they'll expect you to finish top 3 every race. If you meet their requirements, good things happen like extra cash. If you don't, you risk losing that sponsor. You could also trade or sign sponsors at any time during the season if you want. That's kind of why I'd like a longer season, because there'd be too many busy weeks this way if we kept things short. Also trying to think if there'd be any use for money besides sponsor stuff. Maybe you could only start the season with a set number of shapes and you could use money to buy more? Or maybe the right to use a custom number would be $xxxx ? Hmmmm I don't know. This is all off the top of my head lol. But I thought I should type it before I forget.
Congrats on 5 years, PBC!

Definitely more races in the season, as Nick said. Maybe rather than once a month, every two real races, with say two more mixed in somewhere. That should work out to around 20, double this season. I like what Nick said about making sponsors happy, where relatively lackluster schemes upset sponsors, and relatively good sponsors please them. Another way to please sponsors could be representing the product, or even requiring "x" amount of races to run that sponsor on the hood. Also, the points are confusing to me, atleast. All the ties at the bottom are a bit annoying.
As for the sponsors of different difficulty, here goes: -Nike -Gatorade -Kellogg's -Auto Zone -Sonic -Bojangles -Ruffles -Dr. Pepper -Nesquik -Pizza Hut -Clorox -Kool-Aid Need I go on?

I'm all for expanding the schedule, but let's see if car counts remain consistent throughout the rest of this season before we talk about doubling the schedule. The top series suspended operations last year because of low car counts and the last few Target races ( chase races mind you) only had 3 to 5 entries. Now as I said I'm personally all for an expanded schedule somewhere in the area of 12-14 Races plus preseason testing.
I like the sponsor setup we have now but also like the idea of fulfilling obligations. With some refining I think we can come up with something interesting.
I'd like to see a "winter heat" off season feedback thread. Open it the week after the banquet and close it the week before preseason testing. Give painters a thread to post schemes, brushes, numbers etc.. and others would give feedback (even scores)as if it were a race.
And finally a few more sponsors -Amazon -Moroso -Lunati -WD40
