Here is a couple of ideas I have for future competitions
1) athletic companies (ie nike, underarmour, Adidas)
2) furniture companies (ie Aaron's, RAC, etc)
3) alcohol beverages (ie budweiser, bud light, etc)
4) pizza places (ie dominos, papa johns, etc)
5) fast food burger places (ie BK, McDonalds, etc)
6) energy drinks (ie monster, red bull, rockstar)
7) oil companies (ie valvoline, Quaker state, etc)
8) outdoor stores (ie bass pro shops, cabelas, gander mtn)
9/10) cell phone companies (ie sprint, AT&T, Verizon, etc)(ie apple, samsung, Sony)
11) airline companies (ie virgin airlines, southwest, etc)

I have two, both are centered around base schemes.
1. For the month of July, red white and blue base schemes. Doesn't necessarily have to be stars and stripes but must include all three colors in some form.
- No sponsors
- No contingences
- Drivers name permitted above each window.
2. This one has a few more restrictions. I call it a "Start and Park" challenge. Create a scheme for a fictional start-up Cup team.
- One associate sponsor permitted on the B and or C post. Can be in game or custom.
- Number used must be one NOT currently used by a Sprint Cup team.
- A TBD layer limit would be strictly enforced. I think 25 is fair enough, but that could be negotiated.

I enjoyed a challenge we did a couple years back where the theme was to create a pair of cars as a fictional "team" of sorts. They had to have the same sponsor and/or similar brands, but the base schemes were different, often the same design with the colors reversed.

I have an idea...
For one challenge, I'd like to see it focused on local companies... So non-national chains. Something in each painter's region, state, or city. So for example, since I live in CA, I could do VONS, which is a super-market. Or Hannaford would work for the North East. MAYBE a company logo to go along with to prove it's real, but that part ain't up to me...

I have an idea of paying tribute to Steve Byrnes.
The hood sponsor would be the Fox Sports logo with his initials of his name. The side sponsor would be #ByrnesStrong. The name above the window would be Steve Byrnes. There would be no number, contingencies sponsors. One sponsor behind the rear tires be the stand up 2 cancer logo.
